Student Volunteers

If you have a child attending one of our RMC schools, you are already a member of a great community. No matter your situation—full-time employment, part-time employment, busy stay-at-home parent, or grandparent—we need you!

Our commitment to outstanding citizenship and community service is a tradition that builds from the early years of our program. Throughout their years at RMC, students participate in individual, small group, and school-wide volunteer opportunities that foster collaboration, leadership, generosity, and personal responsibility. Partnering with local organizations such as the Mountain Home Public Library and Meal on Wheels, our students build connections that last well beyond their time at Richard McKenna.

If you are a high school student who needs to complete your 30 hours of community service for course credit, please consider working with the following organizations:

Visitor Guidelines

Parents, we welcome you to observe your child in the classroom, join us on field trips, and help organize school events or fundraisers. Please check in at the front office before and after you visit.

If you would like to volunteer in one of our classrooms on a regular basis, you will need to complete a state background check and pay any associate fees. Please visit the Idaho Department of Education website or contact us for more information.
