Richard Mckenna Online Charter High School
Serving Online Students Grades 9–12

Richard McKenna Online Charter School begins new classes each Monday beginning August 14. Registration paperwork is due to the office by Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. to start classes on the following Monday.

Our tuition-free, online public charter school is ready to partner with you in the education of your high school student. We are a non-traditional school. We utilize a project-based learning model taught by Idaho-certified teachers. We do education differently!

We work to build a supportive school culture that develops personal responsibility and fosters academic success. At Richard Mckenna, we only require students to take two classes in a six-week period, allowing students to maintain a healthy school-life balance.

Richard McKenna Online Charter School has a rolling enrollment. You can earn and recover high school credits asap!

Registration cutoff dates for the 2023–2024 school year are as follows:
  • February 5, 2024, for new 11th/12th grade students
  • April 8, 2024, for new 9th/10th grade students
