Richard McKenna Charter High School
Richard McKenna Charter High School is an Idaho public charter high school authorized by the Public Charter School Commission in 2004, and accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools.
The mission of RMCHS is to help students become self-reliant by teaching them how to think, learn, communicate, and respect one another.
RMCHS serves the needs of approximately 60 students grades 9-12 through its Onsite Program in Mountain Home, Idaho, and over 700 regular ed and at-risk students throughout Idaho through its Online Programs.
All of our programs are tuition free and publically funded*.
Onsite Program
The purpose of the RMCHS Onsite Program is to serve the needs of youth in Mountain Home, Idaho, who have completed the 8th grade and who are younger than 21.
Online Programs
RMCHS offers a variety of online programs to help meet the learning needs of students. The following is a list of online programs developed by RMCHS:

*Richard McKenna Charter High School provides a free and appropriate public education for all children with disabilities in a variety of specially designed programs. Special Education and related services are available for persons who qualify.
Parents, guardians and educators of students attending RMCHS can refer a student who may be eligible for services and not currently receiving services by contacting the student's teacher, the school counselor, or the school principal. The referrals will be made to the Special Education Director for further evaluation.
